I've been making a valiant attempt at tidying up my closet. Some of my old clothes found new life as torn-up tributes to Punk Lolita, h.NAOTO, and Black Peace Now. Malheureusement, I haven't made much progress beyond the initial weeding. I've resigned myself to staring at the stack of unopened boxes and sighing.
I think I need the Emily Temple Cute shopgirls to fly over and give my room a makeover. The Osaka store is meticulously organized, yet maintains the Sweet Lolita aesthetic - check out the identical pink-tinted hangers! A neat idea: use long, horizontal wall shelves increase the surface area for storage. And why shell out for a jewelry display rack when you can use a teapot and cups?
I also love the idea of placing necklaces and brooches on a gingham-lined travel case; just latch it up and your jewelry is packed. The two-tiered glass table would make a nice bedroom nightstand or vanity. There's even a spot for you to hang your next outfit and purse.
And when you open your massive walk-in closet, you'll find these delicious strappy shoes on the shelf, along with hundreds of other Rococo creations. Everything's organized by color/brand/design and coded into a computer, which will deliver the perfect pair on a conveyer belt while piping Handel's Water Music and a mist of rose perfume. Ah, a girl can dream, right?
