MaruiOne's booth was another Lolita presence at the NY Comic-Con. I met Nobusuke Yamada, or "Mr. Marui" - he heads up the marketing planning department in Tokyo. MaruiOne teamed up with New York / Tokyo Promotions to get the word out on the new English-language website, which makes some of my favorite brands available outside of Japan.
I would have gladly traded places with the mannequins, who were wearing Algonquins.

and i was wondering how come mr marui don't look goth at all? having said that, their pink/black piece is awesome!!!! love it. is that an eye patch i see??
